Mahi Seafood

FAQ

Is the fish Halal?

Essentially, all types of seafood are Halal suitable, based on verse 5:96 of the Qur’an, which states, “Lawful to you is what you catch from the sea and use for food as provision for yourself and for the travelers…”

Will the food have a strong odor when I microwave it?

No, it won’t! Fish and seafood products can develop strong odors when they are not handled, stored, or transported at proper temperatures.
At Mahi Seafood, we take rigorous measures to ensure your seafood experience is free from any unwanted smells. We create our delicacies using the freshest ingredients and raw materials. Fresh fish are less likely to develop strong odors compared to fish that have started to spoil or deteriorate.
Additionally, our delicacies are packed in airtight lid containers, flash-frozen, and vacuum-sealed, minimizing exposure to oxygen. Oxygen can speed up the breakdown of fish proteins and the development of unpleasant odors.

Our controlled procedures and cold chain management, starting from the moment we receive our raw materials and continuing through the entire packaging and supply chain process, ensure that our seafood products remain fresh and free from unpleasant odors throughout their journey – from our facilities to your microwave. So when you microwave our dishes, you can savor the authentic, delicious taste without worrying about any lingering strong and unpleasant odors.

Are there any preservatives hiding in your products?

Nope, not a trace! All Mahi Seafood products are completely preservative-free.

What’s the shelf life of your products?

Our products have a shelf life of two years.

How do you manage to deliver authentic taste, freshness, and a two-year shelf life without preservatives in your products?

Our dedication to provide you with the finest seafood experience drive us to take extensive measures, ensuring every aspect of our process is geared toward excellence.

We create our delicacies using the freshest ingredients and raw materials, and then we work some magic. We pack them in airtight lid containers, flash-freeze, and vacuum-seal them to keep everything just as fresh as when it’s made. This way, we maintain that authentic taste and lock in the goodness without needing any preservatives. It’s like a taste time capsule!
